Heat extraction capacity and its attenuation of deep borehole heat exchanger array

A model is proposed to analyze the heat transfer of deep borehole exchanger (DBHE)arrays. Based on this, a dimension reduction algorithm for numerical simulation DBHE arrays, which can improve calculation speed by several orders magnitude compared with that CFD software. An index extraction capacity (HECI) adopted evaluate arrays. The influence spacing, operation time, annual heating duration, terrestrial flow rate, depth, soil thermal parameters, pipe diameter and circulating fluid rate array its attenuation are analyzed. results show duration all have apparent while others only capacity. According results, when arrays service lifetime 20–50 years, recommended spacing range 40–70 m.
